Pathways Program

“Ensuring all students are successful.”

The Pathways Program in the Gunnison Watershed School District enables students at the 2 district High Schools to pursue classes in nontraditional settings.  Courses taken through the Pathways program help students gain credit and pursue personal interests as they work to meet all necessary graduation requirements.

The Gunnison Watershed School District believes that all students fit under the "Pathways" umbrella. We believe that the unique needs of students can be met by providing a menu of options that will allow students to graduate from the district with the appropriate skills and experiences to be college and career ready. Potential options include:

  • Advanced Placement Classes

  • STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Science Courses

  • Concurrent Enrollment

  • Online Classes

  • Blended Learning

  • Outdoor Education

  • Leadership Programs

  • Summer Experience

  • Work Study

  • Internships

  • GED Programming

  • Credit Recovery

  • Expulsion Programming

  • Homebound Instruction

  • Career and Technical Education

The Pathways Program is a philosophical look at how students enrolled in the school district can work to acquire credits for graduation. Each student's path may look different. Conversations should begin with the high school counselor and should include the student's ICAP Plan.   For more information, please contact the Pathways Director, information found below.
