Pathways 100% Online Option

Detailed Information on 100% Online Learning Option

The GWSD understands that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated health concerns, some families may wish to pursue a fully online schooling option.   Fortunately, we are pleased to offer a 100% online learning option through our district Pathways Program.  This online learning option is open to students in grades K - 12 and is free for students.  Students enrolled in the online learning option can complete coursework independently from home or any location that has an adequate internet connection.

The Pathways Program has been in existence in the school district since 2016 and it enables students to pursue classes in nontraditional settings.  Throughout that time we have successfully guided students through online courses and other blended learning opportunities.  Courses taken in the online format enable students to gain the skills and competencies necessary to master grade level information, pursue personal interests, and accrue credit to meet all necessary graduation requirements.

With our experienced and dedicated Case Managers, who are also certified teachers, we are confident that we can partner with families to help students experience success in this online learning format.  This online learning option is designed for families who:

  • Have COVID-19 related health concerns.

  • Are unable to follow the GWSD COVID - 19 Protocol.

Below is more detailed information regarding the online learning formats for both elementary and secondary students.
