The Gunnison Watershed School District believes that all students fit under the "Pathways" umbrella. We believe that the unique needs of students can be met by providing a menu of options that will allow students to graduate from the district with the appropriate skills and experiences to be college and career ready. Potential options include:

  • Blended Learning - Online Classes
  • Outdoor Education – Leadership Programs
  • Summer Experience
  • Advanced Placement Classes
  • STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Science Courses
  • Concurrent Enrollment
  • Work Study
  • Internships
  • GED Programming
  • Credit Recovery
  • Expulsion Programming
  • Home Bound Instruction
  • Carl Perkins Programs

According the the state of Colorado, new graduation guidelines must be in place at the beginning of the 2017-18 school year. The Pathways Program is a philosophical look at how students enrolled in the school district can work to acquire credits for graduation. Each student's path may look different. Conversations should begin with the high school counselor and should include the student's ICAP Plan.
